Right. And he also didn't know who Nick Fuentes was. He may be a fascist but nobody believes he is that ignorant.
Moonraker
It's possible he doesn't know because fascism is like a brain-infecting viruses to which some are particularly prone. This virus warps the brain so much that you cannot overcome it with reason or love and compassion. It is totally immune to either, inflicting big-picture irrationality and nihilistic hate onto the infected. So infectious is it among some that it has to be defeated over and over again. Ideally that would be by any means possible but some means actually make us more susceptible to infection ourselves.

BINGO!
Harry_Gatto
Most surprising given his expensive education and German heritage.

As First They Came by Pastor Martin Niemöller illustrated, constantly calling enemies "leftists, communists, Marxists, socialists" for any criticism of policy is a Hitlerian tactic. Fact.
That is the start of the escalation of rhetoric to other marginalized groups.

Immigrants entering the U.S. illegally are “poisoning the blood of our country,” ............So he has very conveniently forgotten his own wife and her parents are said immigrants? The only person poisoning the blood of Americans right now is himself.

He's destroying the US

Hitler this, Hitler that. I am sick of people who consider everyone they don't like to be Hitler throwing the name around so loosely. I say that as a Jew. I also notice how those who literally proclaim they want to kill Jews are rarely compared to Hitler and sometimes even supported by those who spout Trump equals Hitler. Funny that.
Jimizo
Unusually, that’s probably not a lie.
I don’t think Trump has ever read a book of any kind.
Nippori Nick
What Trump does not know would fill an entire galaxy.

Ignorance is Trump's standby excuse when blaming others, delays and deflection don't work.
TaiwanIsNotChina
Oh, so only someone that crosses illegally poisons the blood. What does evading taxes, mishandling classified documents, interfering in an election, and starting an insurrection do to the blood?
bass4funk
Theoretically in a more defined sense, yes. You can make the same argument that is happening throughout much of Western Europe. It’s not about race of what these people are, but the fact is that we just cannot absorb and assimilate these people with these kind of unsustainable numbers, that it is indeed tearing the country apart.
I’m not talking about Biden!
What insurrection?
bass4funk
There is no way of you knowing that.

Look at him with that ugly scowling glare, clappy clappy his hands just like dictators of the times before. Looks like, talks like (reflecting that he thinks like), acts like - IS a fascist pig.
Hitler sassed off about the 'vile dirty Jews'.
Milosevic sassed off about European Muslims, calling them 'Turks'.
tRump sasses off about Hispanics 'poisoning American/Aryan blood'. That's Hitler talk right out of the book!
Everybody, esp. in America - WAKE UP. Punish this hatemonger criminal today!
bass4funk
I think people can see what they “want” to see when they dislike someone is something.
Yes, and look what he did
The man was a monster for what he allowed and never really had time to suffer behind bars
No, it was taken out of context, now as much as I admire the guy, English is just not his best subject. As I explained earlier (scroll up) what this current administration has done was they turned their back on its citizens in order to let in close to 7 million illegals, NYC already doesn’t know what to do with these people. Most don’t have any skill or education, and then what?
Judging by the polls, it seems the country wants to punish the DNC.

Trump told Hewitt his message was “very different”
So when Margaret Thatcher said something like she wanted to make Britain great again, she was echoing Hitler, who said he wanted to make Germany great again?
Bob Fosse
Idolizing a ‘leader’ who is always saying “I know nothing about ____”.
Birds of a feather flock together.
zibala
Who is idolizing anyone? That's not even mentioned in the article.
Odd.

That's because it doesn't.
But that will never stop the MSM from constantly saying it.
Because repeating a false statement over and over, makes it appear true, over time...
That's what the Third Reich did, same as the MSM do now.
That's a similarity I do see.
lincolnman
Well that's a little hard to believe....you know Hitler came up during his dinner with Nick Fuentes, given that Nick is such a Hitler fan...
https://www.texastribune.org/2023/10/10/nick-fuentes-texas-meeting/
Fuentes probably wrote the line for Trump...
Bob Fosse
But you found thatcher in there? Very odd.

I fear that we have not stopped the coup, only delayed it.

Mr Trumpis a buffoon of the highest order, with a mind as disorganised as his awful haircut.
I don’t think the chap is a modern day Hitler though really, he’s just an egomaniac who is totally out of touch with the common man and lack empathy for others.
Jimizo
Yes. Many now Trump supporters disliked being ‘talked down to’ by Obama. They felt he was almost sneering at their low intelligence. No danger of that with Trump.
Throw in Trump’s love of conspiracy theories and you have a magnet for morons.
Jimizo
What’s incredible is how often he says ‘Nobody knew…’ or ‘Not many people know …’ and then going on to share common knowledge.
It’s like a comedy sketch.
