Unlike his predecessor, President Biden is not going to start a trade war just for the sake of being able to say he started a trade war. The recent trade wars with China, Canada, and the EU are all lose-lose propositions. There are things to complain about in the trade between the US and our trade partners, but complaints should be based on facts, not conspiracy theories and xenophobia.

I think you missed the point. Relations between the US and China are not going to improve under the Biden administration. If anything they will grow worse. What is different is that Mr. Biden seeks a unified approach to confronting China with America's allies, much as the allies had a unified approach to the old USSR. Mr. Biden understands the value of having allies and how they strengthen America's foreign policy. China has very few allies to help her while trade with the US and its allies are the backbone of the Chinese economy. Those allies along with the US have great leverage to apply if they chose to act in unison.

I support getting tough on Chinese-made products...and I know just where to start...
Put a tariff on every Chinese-made Trump Collection shirt, tie, or golf bag currently being sold at the Trumpstore.com...
It might put someone out of business, but he'll soon be behind bars anyway...
