Business is doing very well based on tax cuts, but what will be done about the huge US deficits? Japan can't buy all of it, and I doubt that China will be in the mood to buy any more of it considering Trump's treatment of China.

The current President gets credit. Business is confident, so they will keep expanding. Business leaders prefer Republicans for economic reasons.

The left-leaning reporting has been wrong more than they are right the last 20 yrs. Average voters look at the current economy and maybe the expectations for the next 3 months.

While Chinese tariffs will eventually matter to lots of Americans, they havent mattered yet to most. For things we are looking to purchase, stuff made in China is still getting cheaper and cheaper, which I cannot explain.

National Debt has been growing still under Trump, but this election isnt about that. We dont have any real choice between the tax-n-spend democrats and the reduce-taxes-n-spend republicans. Sad.

Strong dollar

Despite all those, the US trade deficit has grown again for the last 3 months straight:

Fake news from a Trump denier. The President's approval rating is at 51%. Well higher than was Obama's at this point in his administration. The unemployment rate was persistently high during Obama's eight years, but is now at the lowest point since 1969.

Americans are not going to be fooled by such negative stories, and democrats will once again be disappointed, as they have been since the 2009 elections. The economy will continue to expand unless the media tricks Americans into voting against their own welfare.

But...but I thought Trump was gonna destroy the economy...

I'm not tired of winning!
