The article says one group off the US west coast, and two in the Philippine Sea, one near Guam. So where is the Indo in Indo-Pacific? Is this news or propaganda?

“The Chinese will definitely portray this as an example of U.S. provocations, and as evidence that the U.S. is a source of instability in the region."

Because that is exactly what it is.

I wonder if this has got anything to do with the up and coming election in the USA?

China had done enough provocations recently so it is good there are more aircraft carriers in the area.

How about a port stop at Taiwan??

Hong Kong port call would be better.

Hopefully they can avoid hitting other ships.

There must be somebody who will stop Chinese imperialism to spread over our beautiful planet.

A projection by the US military has foreseen that between 2030 and 2050, China will eclipse the USA in military power. When that happens, Taiwan, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, and Japan had better be ready to do more of the heavy lifting regarding self-defense, unless they are OK with giving up everything they have worked for since World War II.
