A projection by the US military has foreseen that between 2030 and 2050, China will eclipse the USA in military power. When that happens, Taiwan, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, and Japan had better be ready to do more of the heavy lifting regarding self-defense, unless they are OK with giving up everything they have worked for since World War II.
