My first reaction was, nah, golf? But then, my neighbor has been doing chip shots in his front yard for hours, and does it every day that he is home, weather permitting. As for the guns, not so much where I live.

Guns have become a new religion in America because of a shrieking greedy terroristic loudmouth who runs the NRA. It's a cult.

At least with golf you can social distance and the players don't need to touch each other's balls.

What a load of garbage. In a country as big and diverse as the US and having so many natural disasters (LA riots was man made) like Katrina, Tornados and Earthquakes, looting is sadly a huge problem in the states when these disasters happen, you would be a fool in a ravage torn area and didn’t have a gun. it’s not at all far fetched to want to stop possible looters.

The golf course is a healthy place to be - fresh air, exercise and sunshine to boost the immune system, distance from others and good for the mind and attitude.

It's interesting to see how quiet it is where I live in the US now after a generation of living in Japan. I'm in Arizona and the sky is a beautiful shade of blue. There are so few planes, so there isn't the jet exhaust building up a cloud cover during the day.

And at least with golf nobody gets hurt or killed, unless a ball hits someone or an irate player flings the club - and with such distances as they are chances of injury are slim.
