A recent incident police just let those counter protest to attack campus protesters. Campus protesters asking why tax money being used to fund genocide, however some people just don't like it.

Agent provocateurs enable the police to attack the protesters. Long history.

Some people have difficulty hiding their Jew-hatred. I’m glad it’s out in the open now.

To liberate Gaza, step one, get rid of Hamas. Bury them twenty meters below the ground.
Step two, whatever government they set, it needs to be separate from religion. No Islam, no Christianity, no religion. State and religion set apart.
Olive
Gargoyle, no need for a random shot at the Christians. They’re not likely to be running things in that part of the world

So proud the university students all around the World are standing for what is right.
Peacefully and with respect.
The counter zionist protesters, the police, the media will try to break you, brutally attack you, lie about you and demonize you. Standing for what is right can't be stopped.
From the river to the sea, Palestine will be FREE!

Garthgoyle, completly agree.
All three monotheistic religions have brought unspeakable harm to humanity since their beginnings through their all-blessing, intolerant fanaticism.
bass4funk
I disagree.
Apparently, you haven't watched the videos that tell a much different story.
And Hamas will still fall and the Jewish state will still stand at the end of the day, so what was the purpose of these spoiled and entitled kids in the end?
That will never happen.

@Olive
Christians would do just the same ore worse if they were to run the government. It has happened in story already. State and Religion are not meant to be together.

“Outside agitators”, “Agent Provocateurs” or whatever you want to call them, getting involved, infiltrating an otherwise legitimate, peaceful protest, to de-legitimize that protest, have been around for many years. And in my lifetime, I can think of Greenham Common; Orgreave and other Miner’s strike incidents; Chelsea thugs at Heysel causing riots later blamed on Liverpool fans.
And I am sure there are many more.

You oppose their First Amendment rights.

That is has overwhelmingly been used against progressive, socialist movements advocating for more human rights and freedom.
From union busters and massacres against inhumane conditions to the civil rights movement and McCarthyism.

Historical fact.
Some of the vandalism in this case could be linked to that.
bass4funk
No, I oppose radicalism as well as agents infiltrating these campuses to stir up these protesters to the point where they think they can hold their campus hostage, inconveniencing their fellow students that do want an education, these people are not peacefully protesting when they deny others from an education. There should be severe consequences for these radical actions.
And most useless and futile.
To an extent, but in Israel’s case, it’s not going to matter.
Whatever the reason, these thugs should be kicked out and barred from graduating and their tuition be forfeited and used to pay for the damages caused by these people.
zibala
True. Just entitled, misinformed frustrated children.

There are student protests across the globe including in Japan. Not all have been violent and in many cases it was the police who caused the violence or outside actors provoking the situation.

I expect that the same criteria were applied to the individuals who vandalized the Capitol Building on January 6 and attempted to subvert the Constitution. Thousands were arrested, and more than 500 were imprisoned, some receiving lengthy terms.
bass4funk
The difference is, they didn’t vandalized, spray painted, setup tents, help Jewish supporters hostages, set demands, chanted and called for the destruction of the nation.
No, that’s not what happened. Protesting and challenging voting irregularities is within the constitutional rights of all Americans. If you go by that then we can go back to 2016 Raskin and Hakeem’s didn’t want to certify the duly elected president at that time, that is subverting the Constitution as well.
That won’t be forever, clock is ticking.

They vandalized the building. Stole personal property. Smashed-up offices. They caused $2.73 million of damage. Plenty of online photos and videos.
and attempted to subvert the Constitution.
Trying to prevent the Constitutional handover of power
Thousands were arrested, and more than 500 were imprisoned, some receiving lengthy terms
It will be until they finish their sentences or receive parole. More will receive prison sentences.

University students are not children.

As I do for the mob that rioted and looted and injured and killed cops during the 3 month summer riots of 2020
Defaced and laced with graffiti? Offices smashed to bits.
A gavel? How much millions and millions of dollars worth?
Where? What photos?
Ok, so where did that number come from, the Dems posterior derrière?
As the Dems did as well.
Same as what the Dems tried to do.
Again, the clock is ticking on that.
Or when Trump is back in office then on day one, they’re out.
wallace
Trump will not pardon 800+ rioters imprisoned for attacking the Capitol Buildings.

I disagree
