How do I have the wrong idea about Trump? I'm entitled to my own opinion. I disagree with Democrats on Israel and a select few other topics. Of course you're entitled to your own opinion, I have no problem with that. I don't agree with everything Trump does or says, but he's certainly no fascist. No evidence for it whatsoever. I can appreciate why some people don't like him, but that's not a legitimate reason.

As for the fascist claim, I don’t think Trump is particularly ideological. He’s a scammer and a grifter at heart. Been doing it all his life. He does get a bit of a crush on the authoritarian types though.

The problem with this is when to take Trump seriously isn’t always clear. Many of his supporters took him seriously when he said he’d build a wall and provide great healthcare at a fraction of the cost.
