Cheesy sounds? Not nice.

Wonder if she will get the fame and and following that Karen Carpenter got. Or if she can beat Dionne Warwick.
Whitney was good but she wasn't a Carpenter.

That was a Dolly Parton song?

There was a time, about 1985-1993, when she was without peer in the singing world. A 4-octave range, fantastic phrasing, bubbly personality and hot looks. There's not a singer today who could come close to the power her voice had at its peak.

She should have taken her own advice and tried to make herself happy. Staying with Bobby Brown was too long, gave her too many opportunities to abuse alcohol and drugs, and was constantly used as a puching bag on many occasions.

The creative arts have their occupational hazards. One big one is addiction. With writers it's alcohol. With musicians it's drugs. I know don't why that is. Poor Whitney Houston rose to the greatest heights and plunged to the lowest depths. It is not an unusual story, sad to say. Artists should all be assumed to be endangered fauna.

The reason .
She is drug addicted.

I don't think so. I don't really follow too much about this kind of music but she was a great singer and I think she will be remembered firstly as that, not as a drug addict. She is hardly alone in that respect.

At the beginning it controls the Drug, or the Simulator ...for progressive.. maximize the the performance , reaching the top it turns to control the carrier and lead to destruction...
May be she was excellent in Singing...but you can not say she was good that she use Cocaine ....????

People will listen to her voice long after all is said and done.
Raising a lovely daughter, and leaving such a musical legacy, cannot be overshadowed...
RIP Whitney.

I think they should play her recording of "The Star Spangled Banner" at the start of every sporting event in the U.S.A. It was powerful, thrilling and heart felt. Hearing it was a totally moving experience.

Great accomplishments, but she'll be remembered as just another druggie. Warning to everyone... A real shame.
