Sonny Rollins at 80 still wows loyal jazz fans in Japan

A great, swinging saxaphonist. Plenty of style. Good that he is around still.

Sonny Rollins = class act.

I remember reading an article in the "Village Voice" about how he would practice solo on the Williamsburg Bridge in NY(he later named his 1962 album "The Bridge"). That must have been a sight to see(and hear).

Would have loved to see that! Amazing how music doesn't age in hands like his.

Well, this just makes me feel silly for bitching about turning fifty...!!
