For a country broke, full of debt, at war and 10% unemployed.... we sure can spin Hollywood.

Megan Fox, who co-starred in the franchise’s first two movies, is gone this time, but other returning cast members include John Turturro and Tyrese Gibson.

That movie just lost my 1800 yen.

I am so sick of Jack Sparry. Was in fact after the first movie. Somebody explain to me his appeal?

Sparry, Sparrow, whatever.

Don't know saw the trailer to the latest Jack Sparry and it looks way better than POTC 2+3(which sucked, IMO).

Many of the other movies listed here leave me cold and grabbing for the PS3 for amusement. While I like POTA this one seems to be close the Burton debacle.

There are a lot of good themes coming to the theatres this summer. Let's hope that most of them have a good plot and good acting; that is, after all key to enjoying movies. The "Cowboys & Aliens" looks interesting to me. I've always enjoyed westerns & Harrison Ford would fit right in. Wouldn't it be cool if Tommy Lee Jones had a cameo appearance as an alien drinking canned coffee?

Giving Japanese release dates for all films mentioned in the article would be a good idea.

As for the backdrops of each, you pretty much have to live in cave not to know.
