Taking Hello Kitty love to the extreme

Okay, I admit that I’m a fan of Hello Kitty. Otherwise, I wouldn’t be roaming the food department of the Tokyu Toyoko Department Store in search of Hello Kitty sweets and bentos on my day off. I even admit to having owned a Hello Kitty laptop computer at one time – and not the toy kind either, but a 30th Anniversary Commemorative Edition NEC LaVie computer. But even I have to say that the picture of the Hello Kitty decorated car (at left) leaves me, shall I say, at a loss for words.

Really, I honestly don’t know whether to be impressed or freaked out by the interior of this car. We don’t know whom this car belongs to, but the owner certainly has taken the love of Hello Kitty to new heights.

Now, we have no way of knowing what the exterior of this car looks like (and we would love to find out if we could), but judging from the interior, this doesn’t look like a practical car to drive at all. I mean, wouldn’t all those little Kitty figures come falling down if you hit the brakes? And what’s with the pink fluffy Kitty slippers? Yes, they’re very cute, but wouldn’t the slippers seriously be in the way if someone were to actually seat in the passenger seat?

Well, it is a free a country, so I guess you can decorate the inside of your car any way you like. and there’s no denying that a lot of effort and passion (not to mention money) must have gone into decorating this car, but perhaps this picture is an example of how you could maybe have too much of a good thing – even something as adorable as Hello Kitty.

Yuck! No thanks, no one would want to see the exterior of this car, nor the owner, nor the owner's toilet.

The slippers are there for wearing. You take your shoes off before you get in, just like when you go into a house, and put them in a plastic bag. I knew a guy, inordinately proud of his Merc, who did the same thing (not Kitty, though).

I think I have seen this car.....it's hilarious.

At first from the small pic, I thought it was a photo of a 5 year old girls bed room.

Also I can bet that you can only see out of 25% of her back window. I never understood how so many drivers could get away with having so much clutter on their from and back dashes. Filled with more stuffed animals than at a Build a Bear shop.

I want to see the face of the writer when she sees a big fluffy Hello Kitty in an arcade machine... and saying like in Despicable Me.. ."This Hello Kitty is so fluffy that I could die!!!"

I've always wanted to know what the interior of those right-wing black vans looked like.

Please just do not show it to my grand daughter. She will go nuts for this and want the same.

This has got to be the grossest vehicle in Japan (next to the right-wingers) that I have ever seen. If I would see this car I think I would puke. I think this could be a road hazard, I mean, if you are driving a busy street and would come across this car, you just could not help yourself drive into it. This is a waste of money and time. I wounder if this is a chimpira's girl-friends' car.

Someone should force Jeremy Clarkson to drive this car as punishment.

I'd love if whoever owns that car actually hates Hello Kitty, and just uses it as a conversation piece.
