Emirates to add Osaka, Narita to expanding network after virus suspension

Emirates has confirmed plans to expand its network to a further seven cities this month after suspending services due to the coronavirus.

The Dubai-based airline will launch passenger flights to Khartoum, Amman, Osaka (July 7), Narita (July 8), Athens, Larnaca and Rome.

These new services take the total number of destinations that Emirates is offering to 48.

Travellers will be able to enter Dubai from July 7 following the government decision to gradually open the emirate to business and leisure travelers.

Customers can also book to fly between destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Europe or the Americas, through Dubai, as long as they meet travel and immigration entry requirements of their destination country.

At this moment, any flight into or out of Japan will be mainly for Japanese nationals. Thanks a bunch.

Erm, Emirates has flown to Osaka before, I’ve been on a flight. Not new.

it was an appalling experience though, never used that airline since.

Flew Emirates last year from Tokyo to Dubai. Quality airline with a new fleet.
