Don't we need a vaccination first? This is becoming embarrassing. Japan needs to be open and show their full rollout vaccination plan.

Maybe for travel to and from certain countries it might be useful and enforceable. But for doing pretty mundane things in one’s home country, seems like overkill

This is assuming that we ever actually start deploying the vaccine to any great effect in Japan. Maybe Japan being globally blacklisted would be enough to shame them into actually doing it.
I literally had a friend (US Citizen, PR here) fly to the states, quarantine and get the vaccine far faster than he ever would here. He's spending some time with family who have long since before the second dose and return half of that trip. If I had enough holiday accrued I would probably try the same thing.

I guess if you think that tagging humans like cattle is a good thing, this sounds like a great idea.
Aside from the security risks, this is a totalitarians's wet dream and a civil libertarian's nightmare.

NO to the Vaccine Passport / Digital ID

As if I needed such a ‘generosity’ from these crétins. But if they beg me on knees and lure me in, also without that digital passport, maybe I finally honor them by shopping something or simply with my glorious attendance. lol

Not everyone even has an advanced phone that records events or has apps. And there will be ways that it can be pirated too, count on it.
