AirAsia X launches flights to Narita

AirAsia X has launched flights to Tokyo's Narita Airport from Kuala Lumpur. Narita is AirAsia X’s second airport in Tokyo after Haneda, which was launched in 2010.

Azran Osman-Rani, CEO of AirAsia X said, “Our service to Tokyo-Narita enhances our connectivity offering, complementing our existing daily services to Tokyo-Haneda that arrives at night, with this service via Narita airport that arrives into Tokyo in the morning. Given the unique nature of Tokyo’s airport constraints and the large size of the market, we are confident that this dual-airport operation will work. Many major Asian airlines operate from both Haneda and Narita airports, and the existing operations of our affiliate, Thai AirAsia X operating from Narita, gives us scale benefits.”

Two flights to KL? Gimme a break. How about Bangkok or even Singapore. Even people in KL tell me not to go there.

Sharon, I mean KL.

Maybe it's OK for transiting or spending a night, but the other cities in the region are far more fun and interesting. I could not even buy a beer in KL train station. Can you believe that?
