AA would be much better off upgrading its seats, in-flight service, and especially the flight attendants to get more business.

I'd rather fly in economy class on ANA than business or first class on AA. I'll save a bundle of money too.

Firstly, my choice would never be AA over NH(ANA), especially for the premium class. US carriers simply do not measure up to Asian carriers for trans-Pacific routes....

Secondly, the N'EX green car service from Shinagawa to Narita works just fine, and the new E259 type N'EX is very nice.

a 30 minute time savings isn't all that great, especially when you have to buy a full-fare ticket to be eligible...full fare tkts are quadruple the price of tickets thru a real travel agent, so you actually are paying for the heli service up-front

Fly with us, and we’ll ...

I hope that is not their slogan here in Japan as it is a title of a Japanese porn playing in an airplane.

caffeinebuzz, Narita Express takes just a bit over an hour to get to Narita. So...when you say you would save 2 hours of travel time....?

One thing about getting to Narita: I can drive for 300 kilometres, park my car and get to the right terminal for nearly half the price and save maybe 2 hours travel time- Than if I take the bullet train and transfer to that ridiculously plodding Narita "express".

Too bad there's little other option for the not-mega-rich:p

Too bad they can't get that chopper from Airwolf. Seriously though, helicopters are inherently noisy, so there's nothing you can do. If you're near the takeoff or landing points, it's even noisier.

I hope they will not fly those helicopters near my place cause they are quite noisy. Cannot enjoy weekends at home without the feeling of being in Iraq due to helicopter noise polution.
