ANA Group to offer free flights and benefits to promote vaccinated travel in Japan

All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Peach Aviation Ltd are launching a sweepstakes to encourage vaccination and welcome back travel in Japan.

ANA Mileage Club (AMC) members that are vaccinated or are planning to receive the vaccine will be eligible for the sweepstakes which will offer prizes including 100 free pairs of roundtrip flights in Japan, free upgrades at select hotels and other benefits. ANA is launching the campaign to highlight the importance of the vaccine in fighting COVID-19 and to help AMC members rediscover the joy of travel.

"As Japan begins to rebound, ANA is excited to welcome travelers back through this sweepstakes and the accompanying campaign to drive vaccination," said Shinichi Inoue, Executive Vice President of ANA HD. "From the beginning of the pandemic we have taken steps to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and this campaign will further underscore the importance of our preventive measures as well as the vaccine for safe international travel."

The sweepstake is the latest effort from ANA for the rebound of the Japanese economy and to highlight the importance of the COVID-19 vaccine. Since the beginning of the pandemic, ANA has instituted the ANA Care Promise, a comprehensive series of protocols designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19. While the outbreak continues to affect nearly every aspect of life, ANA remains committed to doing all it can to empower healthcare workers and public health professionals worldwide.

1. Free Flight Tickets for 200 Travelers

100 pairs (200 people) of those who have received two doses of the COVID vaccine will win round-trip tickets on ANA domestic flights (economy class).

Application period: October 1, 2021 - November 30, 2021 (23:59 JST)

Eligibility: ANA Mileage Club members residing in Japan who have received two shots of the COVID-19 vaccine and are 12 years of age or older.

Announcement of winners: December 10, 2021 (to be announced via e-mail)

2. Special Offering of Discount Travel Packages from ANA Traveler's

From September 30, ANA will begin sales of special limited "ANA Traveler's Dynamic Package" and "ANA Traveler's Hotel" packages to those that are vaccinated or can produce negative PCR test results obtained within three days prior to travel.

Application Period: September 30, 2021 (3PM JST) - March 30, 2022 (5 PM JST)

Period of availability: For bookings between October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022

Eligibility: Passengers who have received 2 shots of the COVID vaccine or those who can produce negative PCR test results obtained within three days prior to travel.

In addition, customers who make reservations via the "ANA Travelers Dynamic Package" between September 30, 2021 to November 29, 2021 will receive a coupon worth up to 30,000* yen that can be used at the time of payment. Coupons that can be used on "ANA Travelers Hotels" will also be distributed from mid-October.

3. Discount Benefits at the ANA FESTA Airport Shops

• The ANA FESTA airport shops will offer 5% discounts on purchases of 1,000 yen or more (tax included) for those who have received 2 shots of the COVID vaccine or those who can produce negative PCR test results obtained within three days.

4. Special Benefits for Peach Flights

For those who have received two shots of the COVID vaccine and those who are planning to receive the vaccine, Peach will offer a 10% increase in Peach points for new "Peach Point" purchases.

Separately, those who have received two shots of the COVID vaccine or those who can produce negative PCR test results will be offered a special 20% discounts for selected in-flight shopping goods.

Details will be announced on the Peach website after mid-October.
