All I can say is: "How TYPICAL".

Asiana is usually one of the better airlines. They ballsed up big time here, scapegoating an employee into suicide is unforgivable.

Short haul flights between Japan and China are not that big of a deal for airline food. I would say an apology and maybe a meal coupon would have sufficed. Asiana is still a good airline, at least compared to the US airlines.

Korean airline with made in China airline food. The worst of the worst. I always fly ANA or JAL Thanks.

Blind prejudice is rather ugly. If you flew with Asiana you would find it one of ther better airlines.

"Since Sunday, many Asiana flights have been delayed waiting for meals and many others, mostly short-haul flights to Japan and China, have had to leave without any."

Just buy a bento/snack at an airport shop prior to departure, anyone? lol

Same people who complain about the meals quality then complain they have nothing to eat. Oh no, how can you possibly survive 2-5-7 hours without a meal. First world problems.

When SAS caterers were on strike my wife was given a voucher to buy food at the airport. Doesn't Asiana do the same, or don't they care if their passengers go hungry?
