Well, ever since I saw the footage of tourists in smoky Canberra, vaguely peering through the gloom to try and make out the vague outlines of Parliament House while trying not to choke on particulate matter from the burning eucalyptus forest, I can only sympathise.

The vast majority of the country is bushfire safe, Western Australia and the Northern Territory haven't affected at all by the smoke - missing a great holiday by a fear of nothing.

Maybe so but Sydney, Victoria and Canberra are probably the most popular resort cities.
