You are lucky 87 days for a visa to go the land of the FREE it remind's me of the good old U.S.S.R when it used to take A YEAR.

“Security is job one for us,”

I believe the TSA could learn a lot from Japanese airport security. I don't feel like a thouroughly unwanted person when flying in Japan.

I used to go to the US yearly, when a driver's license and birth certificate were all that was necessary. Living in Victoria, BC, the US is extremely close, and it used to be very easy to drive or fly to Washington, Oregon, Nevada and California. Lots to see and do. Haven't been back since they made us Canadians get passports, and don't plan on it.
