No thanks, I'll pass. I don't want someone punching me and shooting me just for wearing a mask.

Yes reopening but still closed.

That's the USA alright.

The lights are on but nobody's home.

Why would you want to visit a country where you could get shot at, robbed, attacked, or return home with a nasty virus?

Yet they want to come to the US, more than to any other country.

I wonder why.

The U S is such a dangerous place. Karens and Kevins are everywhere, waiting to pounce on Asians.

Anti-Asian Feelings are strong. If you look, Asian, then you are Chinese.

Please do not go there.

The US has this right--vaccinated, come in, and no silly quarantine.

Others, like China and Japan, remain essentially closed, which makes it difficult for their own citizens to leave and come back because of mandatory quarantines.

Unless you're an athlete, businessman or rich.

still better than Japan which is closed to everywhere in world

Generally people from poor countries are too poor to travel anyway so I don't think it makes much of a difference. And rich people from poor countries will most likely be vaccinated anyway. So how is this any different from pre covid times?
