Make flying so unpleasant that people don't want to do it. No matter all the jobs aviation provides directly and indirectly.

Flying only for the elite, coz, like, the environment and stuff. And be sure to take your vaccines or you won't even be allowed on board.

Temperature checks barely work at catching most who have the virus because it has been proven that many will not have a fever even when they have the virus and can spread it.

Passengers in the country must declare a reason for flying, provide documentation proving they are virus-free, undergo multiple screenings, and offer details of their movements on arrival.

How does your reason for flying help stop the virus from being transmitted?

At the time you were tested you were virus free but that does not mean you will be once you arrive at the airport. A lot can happen on your way to the airport, mass transit has that risk. Does this mean you can only be driven to the airport by a screened driver service?

Every time you queue up like cattle to be screened yet again, you risk the chance of being infected AGAIN so how does that help?

How does offering details of your movements on arrival help in real-time to prevent the spread of the virus?

All of these knee jerk reactions have no real world way of making a dent in the spread of the virus when you are at the mercy of weakest link in the process... peoples' honesty and integrity. The honour system only works in a very few limited parts of the world so good luck with that.

Well I guess, if that's a permanent thing, I'll never fly or go overseas again. Luckily, this country is awesome so no problem for me. I'm sorry for those stuck in the west.
