I reckon Covid really hurt Japan. The birthrate, marriage rates, folk going overseas have all crashed. Loads of izakayas and ramen shops have been going under too.

On the other hand, Covid19 deaths in Japan is never back to 2019, still remain worst level.

At least, average over hundred per day are still victimized by Covid19 with no-measures of government at Japanese society where worst ever poverty and highest ever tax revenue or share prices coexist.
