Japan Airlines (JAL) has kicked off sales of special airfares for its brand new route from Tokyo (Narita) to Boston in advance of its scheduled launched on April 22, 2012 with the fuel-efficient Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
Presently, anyone traveling from Asia, including Japan, to Boston has to make flight connections at some point during their journey. With the establishment of JAL's inaugural trans-Pacific route in 13 years, Boston will finally be linked with direct, nonstop flights to Asia for the first time, shaving off up to 6 hours of current travel times for passengers flying from Japan to the North American city center for commerce, culture and higher education.
To welcome customers to the latest destination on JAL's international network, the following special airfares for travel between April 22 and Sept 30, 2012, will be available for purchase online, at JAL's ticketing offices and through travel agencies for a limited time from Nov 9 to Jan 31, 2012.
