Jetstar is, subject to regulatory approval, to launch four times weekly service between Singapore and Hanoi in Vietnam from Dec 15. The low cost airline will also add a daily Singapore-Ho Chi Minh city service from Aug 18 to expand its frequency to three times daily between the two cities.
In total, the new services represents a boost of 78% in the airline’s capacity between Singapore and Vietnam, with Jetstar set to offer a total of more than 468,000 seats between the two destinations by the end of the year.
Jetstar, which flies to 56 destinations in 17 countries, is one of the fastest growing low-cost airlines in the Asia Pacific region.
Its pan Asian network extends from Australia through Singapore, as well as to Japan, China, and Vietnam. The airline also operates domestic services in New Zealand, and direct flights from Singapore to Auckland and Melbourne.

This is what Japan needs, a low cost budget airline that won't make you go broke just to fly domestically from what part of Japan to another. Ridiculous over here!!
