The Keio Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku, Tokyo, is spending around 400 million yen renovating the guest rooms on the 31st floor of the Main Tower.
The renovation will equip each room with four beds and an additional sofa bed to allow a maximum of five adults to sleep comfortably.
Bathrooms are also being upgraded. Two types of bathing facilities are being installed, including one with a combined bath and toilet and another with a combined shower stall and toilet, both with two separately located wash basins to allow for efficient and convenient use of rooms by multiple guests.
The rooms also feature large glass windows that provide panoramic views of the Tokyo skyline for guests to enjoy.
The renovated guest rooms are scheduled to open on March 29.
The Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo will celebrate its 50th year of operations in 2021.
