Marriott has expanded its portfolio of Autograph Collection hotels in Japan with the opening of The Osaka Station Hotel, the brand's fifth property in the country and first in Osaka.
The 418-room hotel is located in JP Tower Osaka in the city's Umeda district, approximately 30 minutes by public transport from Osaka Itami Airport (ITM).
As the name suggests, the hotel is connected directly to the West Exit of JR Osaka Station in the Osaka Station City complex.
Each of the hotel's rooms are arranged in an L-shape along the perimeter of the building, allowing guests to enjoy different views from the east, west, north and south, whilst specialty suites boast views from approximately 170 meters above the ground.
In addition to check-in and check-out assistance, guests staying in specialty suites can enjoy breakfast, snacks, afternoon tea, cocktails and nightcaps served in the lounge on the 38th floor.
Facilities include a choice of F&B outlets, a fitness center, gym and approximately 1,250 square meters of meeting and event spaces across five function rooms, including a 742-square-meter ballroom which can accommodate up to 900 guests.
“Umeda is a microcosm of Osaka's blend of the traditional and the modern, providing visitors with a rich and varied experience that captures the essence of this dynamic city,” said Shinji Sato, General Manager, The Osaka Station Hotel, Autograph Collection. “We are confident that visitors will enjoy the experiences that this hotel has to offer, from its landmark location to its creative design, dining, and service. We look forward to welcoming our guests who seek a memorably unique hotel to experience the true spirit of beautiful Osaka at The Osaka Station Hotel.”
