Peach to start Nagoya-Taipei service; resume Osaka-Kaohsiung flights

Peach Aviation Ltd has announced that starting March 27, it will start operating the Nagoya (Chubu) - Taipei (Taoyuan) route, its first international route at Nagoya (Chubu) Airport. Also, starting August 1, the Osaka (Kansai) - Kaohsiung route, which had been suspended for about three and a half years, will resume service.

Peach first launched services at Nagoya (Chubu) Airport in December 2020 and began operating four domestic routes: Sapporo (New-Chitose), Sendai, Okinawa (Naha), and Ishigaki. The newly announced Taipei route is Peach’s first international route from Nagoya (Chubu) Airport and will be operated seven times a week.

The Osaka (Kansai) - Kaohsiung route, which had been suspended since March 1, 2020, will have seven flights per week. There will be five international routes at Kansai Airport, including this route, bringing the total number of routes between Japan and Taiwan to six. The Osaka (Kansai) - Kaohsiung route will operate using the Airbus A321LR, which is equipped with a wider seat pitch and a USB port for charging as compared to the conventional Airbus A320ceo, allowing for a more relaxed and comfortable travel experience.
