So long as absolute priority is given to safety and maintenance this seems to be a wonderful opportunity to experience something very special. Hats off.

I love the last photo where a toddler tries on an adult helmet. It's quite bizarre to see these initiatives from a regime that reigns in dissent with anti-aircraft guns. Don't be surprised to see these ultra cheap ultralights weaponized, though these shores are at no risk.

Well, I assuming that 99% of the North Korean population won't be partaking in this activity. Hope the elite families (wealthy enough to afford it) of Pyongyang enjoy it!

As to the foreigners, I guess that you already take on so much risk by traveling to NK that you don't up it that much by taking the flight :). Nice flying in the exhaust fumes!
