Those seats are becoming expensive, still thinking to deplane passenger now?

It's a long time ago now but I remember when Qantas was an airline of some integrity. It started to lose that even before Alan Joyce but he accelerated it. Last time I flew them they were just a notch up from an LCC.

They got off easy. All they'll do is wait for the storm to die down and raise prices to make up for the fine they had to pay.

How did Qantas plan to get away with it? They'd have to notify passengers of the cancellation at some point and then return the money. I don't think they thought this one through very well.
