I'm sorry, but am I missing something here? How is Germany doing any better than many other countries? It still has several 1000s of positive cases every day. Granted, it's doing a lot better than US, UK and India, but even HK, with near-zero local infections, hasn't been able to form a travel bubble with Singapore.

Yes the choice of Germany is a bit weird (driven by business?) but anything that can be done to reduce the current draconian restrictions on travel is welcome step. Even if not logical.

Its a start. Lets hope they dont panic and close it down if a few travellers test positive.

Doesnt make much sense. There's not a lot to do in Singapore after a few days. Why fly all the way from Germany to a place where 5-6 days is more than enough to see the entire place.
