I used to enjoy the Gardner Museum when I lived in Beantown, but the article neglected to mention it was in 1990 the victim of the biggest art heist in US history. The stolen pieces have never been found, but if you have a line on them there's still a $5 million reward.

And about the #1 pick (Dresden Military Museum), another remarkable thing is that Daniel Libeskind is himself a Holocaust survivor.
