Neither side won, though the US did clearly outperform expectations - so congratulations to them, and hopefully they will perform better in future and see their team become a Challenger within the Sport of Football... I mean.. ahem.. Soccer..

I am happy though we came away with a draw and not a loss. Wales is one of those dark horse teams we always tend to lose to. We better step our game way up against England this weekend.

I think the US threw this away to be honest - Wales lucky to take a point from this.

300 million plus vs. 3 million. USA vs. Utah. Goliath gets tied by David.

Game itself, USA looked better than believed, but one goal scored and they digressed. Wales out played the USA the rest of the way. Inexperience and not enough football players in a country of football players leads to some real dumb play...who takes an unnecessary penalty with a 1-0 lead? Bad teams do.

Bale must be one of the most overrated players ever.

Us wasted points here against a less skilled team. Still US and English should advance

England should advance based on form and ranking, but if England beats both the USA and Wales, then the result against Iran for both teams is critical.

If England beats the USA in its next game, it will have no pressure in its third game against Wales and may choose to field a weaker team.

So I think I favour Wales to qualify on balance, but they need to beat Iran.

Glorious strike by the American star Tim Weah. Wales and the US are very much in the running for a berth in the next phase. Well played.
