I am deeply upset that this is being held in Qatar. Football gets worse by the year, they support taking the knee and rainbows but turn a blind eye to the ghastly things in Qatar simply to line their pockets.

Good for them - but a total boycott may have been more effective

The small minority of native residents who run Qatar did not deserve the WC. Nasty pieces of work. They bribed corrupt FIFA to get it. At least 6500 poor, Asian workers died making these stadiums. Likely many more. Rumour has it some are buried in the concrete under the stadiums.

I will watch the games - so I guess I'm a hypocrite. But certainly not any of the PR for horrible Qatar that will fill the broadcasts for the WC.
