2020 has been a year of restrictions because of the coronavirus. When the virus is finally behind us, what are some of the things that you would like to do most of all?

visit my family in Canada

This is going to be around for quite a while, but visit family in Australia when I can.

Visit family.

Nothing else comes near.

Seeing family is the only thing I’ve wanted to do that I haven’t been able to do.

That, and a proper summer holiday.

See family and friends comes first, travel comes second. video calls and virtual tourism just doesn't cut it.

See family and friends back home and being able to sit in the pub.

Party and dance all night long in Roppongi, wake up next morning on a sidewalk in Shibuya, snowboard all season, get my jobs back in the tourism industry, travel to Korea, US and Puerto Rico (no 14 days off quarantine) and simply meet up with friends at Yoyogi park, BBQ's and other events. Just the normal stuff.

There isn’t such a thing like that virus being finally behind us.

Tell all the doomsayers and the mask police: "See? You didn't die, now take off that thing of your face!"

Get a haircut

Enjoy a meal with family in a good restaurant without masks and plastic shields.

We look forward to again visiting our ancestral home and relatives in Japan.

Get back to Japan for a month or two, then Ukraine. Then back home to Vancouver Island and my La-La-Land existence. Without masks.

Go to Japan like I was meant to do at the end of this month for a holiday and see my friends... hopefully by the end of April next year things will have changed.
