Lets hope they do replace them with A.I. THEN maybe we'll have SOME degree of intelligence...

Porn stars.

These are already in heavy competition with VR porn stars, which are very popular. As the tech improves I see VR replacing movie stars as well. They can work 24 hours, make no demands, have no scandals, and can be licensed out to movie producers who want to use them. Actors will have to depend on voice work and live performances to make any money.

My job is fixing and calibrating robots. I think a human will always be required for what I do.

The U.S. Marines & Navy Seals, British SAS, US Special Forces, Canadian JTF2 and ALL other essential ‘boots on the ground’ and ‘grunt’ infantry. - While the Japanese govt is trying to sell their taxpayers on A.I. to monitor the air & seas, Japan will remain dependent on their Western allies to do the actual ‘leg work’ when the neighbors come to visit and overstay their welcome.

- “The Defense Ministry also seeks to increase research and development spending to a record 325.7 billion yen ($2.96 billion) for “game-changing” technologies such as unmanned aircraft operated by artificial intelligence.” -

In the future there will be no pure humans or jobs.

Everyone is replaceable and that whole resource and energy wasting robot and AI garbage is the first that will be fully back replaced by normal human beings after all have realized that it was a misleading path. It’s of course a very fascinating technology, nobody doubts that, but if you also would know it better and in depth or detail , finally it just can’t and won’t work as we are all told it will.

Fixing robots... duh

Dogs as companions, caregivers & assistants have already replaced the roles of many humans. ‘Service dogs’ jobs are to assist in the lives of humans. They are clearly remarkable. Furthermore, their devotion and loyalty to their adoptive families and loved ones could NEVER be replaced by any A.I.

Teachers, guidance counsellors, psychiatrists, I second pleasure workers. Basically, anything that requires a bit of human touch. Although I'm imagining that once AI becomes smart enough to mimic humanity, it will shoot my claims out of the water.

No robot will ever replace a master baker...... It takes experience and the human touch to bake exceedingly good cakes!

The person with the water hose to make sure the robots stay in their lanes peacefully.

Water - the weapon against the robots.

Teaching and counselling may be the least AI driven area. But here I want to stress that more employment, more benefits and higher productivity can be attained through cohabitation and cooperation with AI. The relationship is likely to be complementary rather than competitive. It depends on our human-side attitude.

How far into the future are we talking?

I would assume that, given sufficient developments of technology, there is no job a robot can't do as well as/better than a human. A Star Trek style communal utopia or Stellaris style Rogue Servitor seems almost inevitable in that case. There is nothing magically unique about humans that can't be replicated.

Near future, probably anything that requires extensive creative thought will be the last thing robots adapt to. Art or dance for example.

Looks like ‘real’ pop & rock stars ABBA will be the first to use A.I. to replace their now older bodies with newer versions:

- Sep 3, ‘21 Entertainment: “The musicians described the process of being transformed into digital avatars using hologram technology for a new show set to launch in London next year. They were photographed in leotards to create the avatars for the show called "ABBA Voyage" which will play at a theatre being built close to the presentation venue in east London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Andersson said the show will feature the group as "digital characters" in 1979 when they were "in their prime". They will look "perfectly real", he said.”
