Hundreds of private jets flying to Glasgow would yield nothing but hot air, and CO2. The end result is a lot of empty promises and no real action by alarmists and Greta the professional whiner.

Yes. But governments must implement the plans in a correct way as most of the populations do not understand the severity of the problem. If things that cause the green house gases emissions are not made available, the populations won't be contributing to the problem.

Moreover, equal stress must be given to use up the CO2 in the air like plants do. Its a cycle. Merely reducing The CO2 emissions is only half attending the problem. The other half is use-up the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

And don't worry much. Nature knows much better how to take care of herself & that includes preserving humanity.

To meet the graph shown in another article there will have to be massive disruption, as in "cut your daily power consumption by 50+%" level disruption. I don't see individuals and business in the American South stopping using AC, nor the North East not heating homes and buildings.
