An ice-cold shower coupled with an ice-cold Barley tea. Although it sounds counter intuitive, you should continue exercising in hot weather as it will help you acclimate faster. Just be careful not to get sick

I used to swim at outdoor pools in Tokyo. But 3 have since been demolished, and one ended "naitaa" evening hours. So I stay indoors and crank the AC or head to a mountain river for a dip.
Plenty of money to fund facilities for temporary foreign athletes but less and less for us who actually live here and pay taxes for things like,....recreational facilities.
