in normal times, people usually seek to get attention and positive affirmation on social media. This is even more apparent during a time where people are cooped up in their homes and social interaction with others are almost non-existent. Doesn't bother me. People can share what they want about themselves, I'll only read what I find interesting.

Although I know a few people who overshare things about their children and that makes me a little uncomfortable.

I really hate closeup face shots, which show the person's phizgob and nothing else.

People have different choices, but seeking validation online doesn't bring real happiness. I don't have Facebook, Instagram nor Twitter...less stress!!!

Not on any of those sites so they can post away. Plus, I dislike almost all of my friends, anyway. They hate me pretty badly too so it works out.

People may need to vent or boast once in a while, no problem. But, with repeated offenses, I will diagnose said friends with "attention whore" syndrome, then I simply unfollow.
