How many "meishi" (business cards) would you say you give out each month in Japan?

Close to zero lately. Mainly because I am not out there making new business. But also because handing out business cards never brought me new business anyway.

If a person wants to work/talk with me, we will stay in touch. If they don't, the meishi just ends up in a junk pile anyway.

Zero. My job is with internal stuff so all my contacts are within the company, I don't have contacts from outside. When I want to connect with someone I meet in private outside work we just use social media.

Zero. I'm not a businessman so I have no need to hand out business cards. And I won't pretend I'm a 'consultant' just so I can make busyness cards for myself.
