If you were to bury a time capsule to be opened 100 years from now, what items would you put in it that would give whoever found it in 2118 some idea of what life was like in 2018?

A smartphone. At this point in time, this is the pinnacle of being integrated into cyberspace. I'm assuming that by 2118, people then would have smarter gadgets that are probably integrated into their bodies and wouldn't need to lug a fragile, heavy, stress-inducing, notepad-sized gadget on their person.

It would be interesting to see how primitive our gadgetry would look to people in 2118. I'd put in some money (both coins and paper currency), a smartphone, digital camera, photos of hamburgers and pizzas, TV sets, computers, cars, aircraft, cinemas, etc. On the other hand, maybe some of those things will still be in use in 2118.

In my case, I'm going to bury electronic devices such as smartphone. If I had a time-machine, I would like to see what it looks like.
