He's only in the job because it's "his turn". He's no leader at all. Does he even have a personality? Looks like some old geezer they just found down at the local JA office. He'll be out in no time, and the next very old man whose "time it is" will fill his shoes. This is how Japan works.

All the PMs here are pretty much interchangeable. The names and faces change but nothing else.

I pay my tax, so my son can have a good education, the infrastructure in Japan is also very good, it is probably the most safest place all over the world. Almost no crimes!

Whereever I am, whereever I go in Japan, I feel safe. Even late at night.

And Japan is the 3rd biggest economy in the world.

So far, all the years I am living here the japanese government did a good job. Of course not in everything, but I have a nice, happy and safe life here.

My thoughts exactly. I think the Japanese miss having a new PM every year after being stuck with another useless princeling for several years whose only claim to fame was rolling down the bunker for his American master.

The current PM? Uncharismatic, useless, manipulated like a puppet by you-know-who, disastrous (with GoToTravel).
