He's only in the job because it's "his turn". He's no leader at all. Does he even have a personality? Looks like some old geezer they just found down at the local JA office. He'll be out in no time, and the next very old man whose "time it is" will fill his shoes. This is how Japan works.
I pay my tax, so my son can have a good education, the infrastructure in Japan is also very good, it is probably the most safest place all over the world. Almost no crimes!
Whereever I am, whereever I go in Japan, I feel safe. Even late at night.
And Japan is the 3rd biggest economy in the world.
So far, all the years I am living here the japanese government did a good job. Of course not in everything, but I have a nice, happy and safe life here.
And that is what counts for me!
I dont remember how many Big Bosses I saw come and go.
Maybe we will go back to a string of 9 month Prime Ministers...
My thoughts exactly. I think the Japanese miss having a new PM every year after being stuck with another useless princeling for several years whose only claim to fame was rolling down the bunker for his American master.
The current PM? Uncharismatic, useless, manipulated like a puppet by you-know-who, disastrous (with GoToTravel).
Smooth and steady leadership, just like Abe-san. Comments here are dominated by Western liberals, so seeing them all whining and crying is par for the course. Good job, Suga-san!

Even more of a failure, and he has a ludicrous combover to boot. An utter charisma vacuum with not a single original policy idea in his barcoded head.

ガースー is nothing but a lapdog to 2F.

I did not think it possible nor likely but much much worse than Abe San.
I fear the next one might be Kato and then we are in real trouble. He is a narcissist and over estimates himself across all lines

All the PMs here are pretty much interchangeable. The names and faces change but nothing else.

For Suga, I guess his period will end in 2021.

Is there a difference?
Seen one puppet, you've seen them all!

Both are, and have been inept.
