Should sports administrators do more to protect their athletes from a media frenzy?

But that’s the main source , direct and indirect, for their much overvalued big income and popularity. Without themselves everyday in the media they quickly become nameless and poor average like you and me, lose their marketing campaigns, sponsors, commercial spots, everything they live from, finally even many may lose their sports itself and the competitions, if there’s less potential for profitable gains from it. I guess, they really don’t want that even more and therefore accept less protection and even try instead for much more media appearances.

Nobody knows Othani ,but people that have nothing to do ,but watch baseball,Mike Trout supposedly to be the best player on Angels,I never seen him,do not know what he look like

You really got to give something up for those money that you receive. For athletes, that includes their privacy.
