The operator of Narita airport plans to raise the annual cap on the number of takeoffs and landings from the current 300,000 to 340,000 later this year. What do you think of Narita airport?

I prefer it to Haneda. We live near Shibuya, so just jump on the Narita Express and arrive in comfort. Getting to Haneda is a pain on the crowded and slow commuter trains.

I live in Kanagawa and hopefully will never have to use Narita again. Waaaaay too far, costly and time-consuming. Haneda is the only airport on my radar.

Hardly use it these days, but we had cheap long term parking and cheap hotels when we did.
Far less confusing drive to get there as well, compared to the Met Expressway.

I prefer Haneda. Living in Kansai, it's much more convenient for both domestic to/from Tokyo, and for international flights that connect thru Tokyo.
I would think it's also more convenient for most Tokyo residents due to proximity, in much the same way Itami is much more convenient than KIX for most Osaka Pref. residents.

What do you think of Narita airport?
It's a dump.

I much prefer Haneda cuz my relatives live right next to it and it's so close to the central Tokyo and Yokohama.
Narita's fine if you're going to head out surfing in Chiba though otherwise it's too far.

It's frustratingly far and if I had to choose, I'd go with Haneda but some international flights only fly into Narita, so sometimes there's no choice.

Narita is probably the least-apprexiated airport in history, just because "it's far away". Clean, punctual, safe, and yes, convenient. I'll say it.

Narita is often swept by high winds.

If you need to go by car bc of luggage, family etc, Narita is the far better choice with cheap long-therm parking that even bring your car right to the exit when coming back, so you only need to store anyone/thing once and are good to go.
