Very cool invention, just not relevant to my life.

Not so much daily. Just whenever it comes up. Whenever I have to use one, I have to search for the QR code reader on my smartphone.

Whoever in Denso Wave invented the QR code, wonder if they knew that 3 decades later they will be used to carry out transactions worth billions of dollars daily.

Yet another invention by Japan that the world should be thankful for.

A couple three times a week. They're pretty ubiquitous in Japan, nowadays, especially for making barcode payments at smaller shops, food trucks, and matsuri booths.

use for almost everything in hk, but for payment visa is still far more rapid for me as a buyer, Altho Qr reader is top of the screen. 7-11 staff explain disc coupons are avail on app. so a cut price cafe. a cheap inst noodle. not relevant to my morning life.
