Charles M. Schulz' Peanuts. Especially the 50s and 60s output. Walt Kelly' Pogo, Segar's Popeye, Garry Trudeau's Doonesbury, Johnny Harts' B.C., Berkley Breathed's Bloom County, Steve Bell's If...
Ach, I'm probably leaving loads out. So many great strips. Luckily we're not talking comic books, as I'd be here for the next decade waffling on!
Are JT going to include a strip or two in future? That would be ace.
I don't find a word to say Japanese manga for the comics and cartoons, the reason I didn't grew up in Japanese manga generation and there were nothing of Japanese influences in South America where I'm from. I grew up checking Marvel's and DC's comics and now I can see more movies of them. It can be a dream-come-true to appreciate comics very developed and innovated to be filmed with good stories.

Growing up, I loved Peanuts, Blondie, Andy Capp, Beetle Bailey and the Phantom. Later on, I liked Trudeau's The Far Side.

Trudeau's? The Far Side is great though.

Viz. But it's not as funny as it used to be.

Oops, I meant Gary Larson's The Far Side.

You had me Googling for Trudeau Far Side comics!
Some of you may know "Footrot Flats" but I guess most of you won't. That was one of my favourites through the '80s and '90s.

Agreed, but I’d say it’s still the funniest thing out there.

I'm ashamed to say I used to read Captain Hurricane in the Valiant. Not exactly politically correct. (Perhaps the source of UKIP's ideology.)

That's easy. Calvin and Hobbes.

1) Calvin & Hobbes (Bill Watterson)
2) Peanuts (Charles M. Schultz)
3) The Far Side (Gary Larson's)
