Grave of the Fireflies. Even though I've rewatched it multiple times, I still shed a tear whenever I see what those siblings had to go through

Shimura-san singing 'Gondola no Uta' from Ikiru.

Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father

I get easily emotional when watching movies, but this one is the only one that made me cry.

And, were any without background music?

Why? Because it’s much much more difficult to do without music. As a musician, I think music is WAY overused in movies and television.

Bubba dying in Forest Gump. Imagining just how many innocent souls around the world uttered those same words “I wanna go home”

The last scene of The Color Purple is always emotional. A wonderful movie with great actors.

The Avengers: Infinity War

Nah, jokes...

Actually... I get emotional a lot in movies too but the one that really gets to me...

'You had me at "Hello"'.

I don't know why... it's so nothing!

Bambi, apparently. My mum told me that I cried when Bambi's mother was killed. I don't remember.

The Railway Children, the bit at the end on the station platform.

I cry all the time when scenes make me sad. Too many to mention, but here goes.

Movies: Titanic and A Night to Remember (people drowning as the ship went down upset me); Gone With the Wind (when Melanie died); Breakfast at Tiffany's (it's so melancholy, especially when Audrey Hepburn is singing Moon River); The Sound of Music (not sure which scene, final one I think as they cross the Swiss Alps as the choir sings Climb Every Mountain); Lorenzo's Oil (watching the boy suffer was too much for me); and ET (when he parts from the little boy. I wanted to go with him).

TV: The West Wing when Leo's character died; and the last scene of season 3 of Downton Abbey (fans will know what I'm referring to, and from what I read online, millions of other fans felt the same way).

The scene in Knight Rider when Kitt goes over the cliff and gets badly damaged.

South Park when Kenny dies.

Homeward Bound takes the crown for me. Unbeatable even after all these years!

That scene early in “Theres’s Something About Mary.” The line “Frank and beans!!!” has my eyes watering every time.

Many scenes in Schindlers list. But in particular when Oscar breaks down in front of the prisoners after receiving the ring saying he could have down more.Tearing up now just thinking about it.

The opening scenes of "UP" are quite painful... and no I'm not being facetious

"All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain"

From the original Blade Runner movie ( spoilers for those who haven't seen it - I recommend watching the movie from the beginning if you haven't seen it )

The last minutes of the Blake's 7 finale when I was a wee one.

More recently; The Wind That Shakes the Barley.

Ken Loach knows the score.

I didn't cry, but the "Middle Passage" scene from "Amistad" was certainly gut-wrenching and by all accounts accurate in its brutal depiction of the trans-Atlantic African slave trade. So brutal that I probably won't ever watch "12 Years A Slave," another film that apparently pulls no punches.
