Instant Ramen Museum - Osaka, Japan Air Self-Defense Force Museum - Shizuoka-ken, Ebisembei Village - Aichi-ken, Mastumoto Alps Park - Nagano-ken, Nogeyama Zoo - Yokohama, Katsura Imperial Villa - Kyoto, Kurobe Dam - Toyama-ken, Suntory Yamazaki Distillery - Osaka, Izumo Taisha - Shimane-ken

Anywhere away from cars and people. Plenty of mountains around where you can get amazing views, peace, and clean air, for free.

I always like walking around Asakusa for an hour or so & then gravitate towards the old amusement park horse betting area where a bunch of yatai's are & have a few coldones & munchies before wondering back to the station

Imperial Palace in spring or autumn. Coastline down Izu just before and after Atami. Big chunks of Ise shima. Kegon waterfalls. Shiraido Waterfalls. Amami Oshima beach. Shibuya crossing for people watching.....

Any train station, shopping mall, downtown district at peak times... especially in summer... just so much beauty... my kind of sightseeing!
