Anywhere away from cars and people. Plenty of mountains around where you can get amazing views, peace, and clean air, for free.

Imperial Palace, East Gardens.

Any train station, shopping mall, downtown district at peak times... especially in summer... just so much beauty... my kind of sightseeing!

I always like walking around Asakusa for an hour or so & then gravitate towards the old amusement park horse betting area where a bunch of yatai's are & have a few coldones & munchies before wondering back to the station

Toyota City's Toyota Kaikan. It's great if you love automobiles.

Imperial Palace in spring or autumn. Coastline down Izu just before and after Atami. Big chunks of Ise shima. Kegon waterfalls. Shiraido Waterfalls. Amami Oshima beach. Shibuya crossing for people watching.....
