She was in ugliest women Halloween constume, so I invited her for lunch date to discover how she really looked like without the costume. She looked very stunning and beautiful without it. That's how our relationship started and we ended up marrying for life time.
So many good memories. I loved seeing all the amazing decorations but hated when it snowed. One of my most memorable Halloweens was when I was 15. Because I was short, I could still go trick or treating. I got tonnes of candy then went to a party to trade it to the stoners for better "candy". I was set for the night!
The time we egged that old ladys house n threw fireworks at her cat coz she wouldnt answer the door! Im sure she found it hilarious too...ahhh, good times.
(keep halloween behind the gates in Disney, Japan.)
All the treats, of course! I ate chocolate til I got sick, ha ha, or was that Easter, cripes, I may have mixed up Halloween and Easter...
On Mischief Night, our naughty little group came upon a big female dog who suddenly started barking at us ( and understandably so ). A girl in our group said, "I'd kick that dog in the nuts if it had any." That just struck me as real funny, ha ha!
I dressed in authentic-looking witches gear; with roach-killer shoes and striped stockings, carrying a raggedy broom- My son wore a long black cape, slicked back his black hair, wore fangs, whiteface, a penciled-in widow's peak, and big black shades...
The fun mystery of going to strangers' houses in the dark, the different decorations at each house, and all the pumpkins all carved faces in totally different styles and glowing orange. There were some really creative ppl making neat pumpkins. Getting all the candy and comparing and trading with my friends.
being for a non Halloween celebrating region, Disney halloween specials on TV is my only memory. All I remember is the it was only 5 days to Guy Fawkes/bon-fire night - plenty of amazing memories of that!
"What are your favorite memories of Halloween?" That is an easy one....
It is those times before this purely commercial nonsense from the country of nonsense became "popular".
It is a purely commercial enterprise, and most of all in Japan. If I remember correctly, it is supposed to be on Oct. 31? Well, in cultur-free Japan it is a five day "festival" for selling cheapest plastic crap to howling children....

Molotov cocktails on main street! Train cars pushed across crossing and burning bales blocking all entrances to town to keep the police away.
(I can't believe any country is allowing the promotion of this particular fest.)
