What do you think about all the low-cost carriers entering the Japanese market? Any bad experiences?

The mrs just flew NRT-KIX-NRT of late & seemed to work quite well, but she did note there was no aircon in the waiting room so one might want to not fly when its hot!!!

Bangkok to Saigon on Jetstar was absolutely brilliant. However, Jetstar within Vietnam is awful.

No bad experiences yet. Actually its been more pleasant than most of my business-class flights with the world-class failure of an airline known as "JAL"

Regarding Peach (international flight to korea) the inconvenience of the baggage claim and check-ins, the strange flight times (really early morning, really late at night), cramped seats, it's not worth the hassle; for me, at least

why can't airlines just advertise the actual price that includes the tax and surcharge?

No. although the full price Japanese carriers are not always a good experience.....

I've taken Jetstar several times since they started operation in Japan. Most pleasant LCC experience I've ever had.

Why put such a negative twist on this? Why not ask about good experiences too; how people feel about having saved so much money or having had the chance to fly when this was previously denied to them because of the cost.
